Children born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022 start school in Reception in September 2026. Please see the document Howe Park School Primary Admissions Information.pdf for more information about admissions to our school and how places are allocated in line with the oversubscription criteria.
Milton Keynes City Council is the admission authority for Howe Park School. You can view a copy of the admission arrangements for the 2025/26 academic year here and also for the 2026/27 academic year.

National Offer Day (for applications received by Milton Keynes City Council by 15th January 2026) is 16th April 2026.
However if you miss this deadline, it is important to apply as soon as possible. Applications received after the national closing date 15 January 2026, will be considered as a late application and will be reviewed after 16 April 2026.
A late application form will be available to download, on the council's website from 16 April 2026.

If you're moving into Milton Keynes or to a different area within the city and want to change your child's school,
You can apply for a school place online using the Citizen Portal MK Schools Admissions Citizen Portal You’ll need to complete a separate application for each child.
You can list up to four school preferences, including your catchment school.

Howe Park School welcome applicants from outside our catchment.
The catchment area is Emerson Valley not including the roads listed below.
The following roads on Emerson Valley are in catchment for Merebrook Infant School and not Howe Park
School: Alstonefield, Archford Croft, Banktop Place, Beresford Close, Burholme, Cardwell Close, Coldeaton
Lane (even numbers), Chipping Vale (numbers 2-6 and 1-9), Crosslow Bank, Edstone Place, Fadmoor Place,
Gillamore Close, Gratton Court, Hawkshead Drive, Hodder Lane, Pickering Drive (numbers 14-26 and 13-
-35), Rusland Circus (between the junctions of Hodder Lane and Pickering Drive), Ryton Place, Staple Oak and
Wolfscote Lane.
